On this route you will see a veritable parade of archetypal Neo-Gothic public buildings built in the 1860s & 70s such as the glorious Bombay University Library with its high campanile and the grand imposing High Court that are South Mumbai’s main architectural attraction.

Fronting this line of historic Gothic edifices across the open spaceof Oval Maidan is a row of superb 1930s Art Deco apartment buildings making this a marvellously unique setting both visually and architecturally. Another highlight on this heritage route is the culturally vibrant Kala Ghoda node (a small area that is home to Art Galleries and Museums).

This fascinating walk takes you to over 20 sights within the area of Fort and Colaba. Key highlights include the Gateway of India, Taj Mahal Hotel, CST Station, Flora Fountain, Prince of Wales Museum & the Jewish Synagogue.

The Heritage Walk Tour Includes:

There is generally no shopping on the visit except if you explicitly requesting it; there is such a great amount to see and experience that we like to concentrate on touring. However, if you need to purchase something our guide can advice you as he knows the best places and can support you.
